May 19, 2021 – M&H Achieves A Modified Judgment And Reduced Sentence In Queens County Child Abuse / First Degree Assault Case

In this first degree assault action, the Appellate Division, Second Department, in conjunction with M&H’s arguments on appeal, reduced the sentence on a conviction for assault in the first degree from 15 years to 8 years – almost a 50% reduction – a rare result in a case of physical abuse on a child by a parent.
